Eyelid plastic surgery or blepharoplasty (blef-er-uh-plas-tee) is carried out by oculoplastic surgeons. They are ophthalmic surgeons who specialise in eyelid and facial plastic surgery. The two most common cosmetic surgery operations they carry out are brow lift and eyelid surgery. So if you need droopy eyelid surgery or you have an eye condition that needs attention then these are the people for you. The most common aesthetic treatments they carry out are BOTOX® and Restylane® injections. They do other types of facial surgery such as the bone cavity of the eye, the tear system, forehead and cheek area. They have selected this tiny area of the body and spent many years focusing on it as their area of expertise.
