The Intralese femtosecond laser for eye surgery was one of the first bladeless lasers on the market. It is commonly referred to as Intralase or bladeless Lasik. Eye surgery of this kind has a two step procedure and the first of which is creating or cutting a corneal flap.

Blepharoplasty is plastic eye surgery for those droopy upper and lower eyelids and is best carried out by oculoplastic surgeons. You can have double eyelid surgery and the procedure takes from one to three hours and is generally done on a day patient basis. Methods of laser eye treatment continue to improve & we now have bladeless Lasik eye surgery due to the arrival of the femtosecond laser which deploys tiny and rapid pulses of laser light to pass through the top layers of your cornea and form a minute bubble and allow the corneal flap to be created without a blade. Only bad side effect is temporary transient light sensitivity syndrome.
